The “Pearl of the Land” and the “Jewel of Fibers”
Silk has a long history, and when transported from China to Europe via the Silk Road, it was so valuable that it was traded at a price equivalent to, or even two to three times, its weight in gold. Silk, called the “Pearl of the Land,” has long been regarded as one of the finest fibers. Likewise, cashmere, known as the “Jewel of Fibers,” remains one of the rarest and most luxurious fibers used in clothing today.
STH (Cashmere-Silk) blends supple, soft worsted cashmere with silk, carefully balanced to provide lustrous sheen and smoothness, resulting in a luxurious, refined texture and feel.
