Silk Without The Rustle
The rustling sound of silk cloth refers to the sound produced when silk fibers—triangular in cross-section with uneven surfaces—rub against each other. This roughness can cause poor glide and reduced flexibility, making silk difficult to handle or weave. By applying MAYUCA, the fiber surface becomes more uniform, enhancing both glide and flexibility. As a result, the yarn is much easier to weave and handle, and the rustle is eliminated.
Hand-Washable Silk
Traditional silk tends to stretch or shrink when washed. Applying MAYUCA reduces these issues, making hand washing easier without compromising the yarn’s quality.
Matte Silk
MAYUCA’s fiber-coating technology has made it possible to produce silk with an elegant matte finish.

Test appraisal certificate
We adhere to a rigorous quality control and inspection process from procuring raw materials to yarn production. We can furnish a ‘Certificate of Test and Appraisal’ detailing the testing methods following the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS).
Dyeing fastness test chart
We can provide inspection results for the dye-fastness of textiles and garments dyed by our company. These results are obtained through thorough examination following the test methods and grades outlined in the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS).

Recommended Milling Process
Pre-washing → Washing → Rinsing → Milling → Softening → Spin-drying → Drying
Temperature 36 – 42oC
Detergent Anionic detergent (solution of 2 g/litre)
Bath ratio 1: 20
Spin-drying 160％
Drying Natural Drying (Tumble Dry may be applied at the initial stage to smooth out creases. 55ºC – 3 min. )
To account for potential variations in results based on equipment and yarn tension, we strongly recommend conducting a sample trial before initiating actual production.

Do not iron directly.
