Made from ultra-fine Merino wool (SUPER 160) with fibers measuring 15.25–15.75 microns in diameter—comparable in fineness to cashmere—the high density of these fine fibers naturally resists impurities. This wool is produced only on a limited number of farms in Australia and New Zealand, and TOYOBOSHI has chosen to source it from New Zealand on account of its outstanding whiteness and resilience. This rare wool, representing only a small percentage of New Zealand’s fleece, offers exceptional smoothness, elegant luster, soft elasticity, and strength.

Recommended Milling Process
Pre-washing → Washing → Rinsing → Milling → Softening → Spin-drying → Drying
Temperature 36 – 42oC
Detergent Anionic detergent (solution of 2 g/litre)
Bath ratio 1: 20
Spin-drying 160％
Drying Natural Drying (Tumble Dry may be applied at the initial stage to smooth out creases. 55ºC – 3 min. )
To account for potential variations in results based on equipment and yarn tension, we strongly recommend conducting a sample trial before initiating actual production.
